Rahul Steiger

I recently completed my MSc in Data Science at ETH Zurich. My thesis, at the Efficient Architectures and Systems Lab, focused on optimizing large-scale LLM serving on the Alps supercomputer (GH200 Grace Hopper). Along the way I contributed a 50× speedup for multimodal image cache lookups to vLLM.

Previously: Applied Research Intern at Thomson Reuters Labs, Research Intern at OIST, exchange at NUS, and BSc in Computer Science at ETH, where I competed with Team RACKlette in international student cluster competitions.
